On the night between May 3rd and 4th 2024, Rome shore brightly in honor of the Maestro of Italian Couture, Renato Balestra, on the centenary of his birth. Iconic locations such as Piazza del Campidoglio, Trinità dei Monti, and Porta Pinciana were bathed in the signature Balestra blue, paying tribute to his timeless legacy in the world of fashion. Meanwhile, Trieste, his hometown, also joined in the celebration by illuminating key landmarks like the ‘Urban Center delle Imprese’ Palace and the Fountain of Neptune.
