This project begins with those who preserve a piece of our history. Every garment kept safe is a fragment of memory that only you can bring back to life - without your voice, this story would remain incomplete.
If you have a Balestra garment, let us know by taking part in the call: you'll become part of our shared story, a collective narrative we are writing together. Because the value isn't the garment itself, but its story through time - the journey it took, the hands that cared for it, the emotions it created.
How to
take part:
Search: Open wardrobes, trunks, boxes. Ask your grandmothers, mothers and aunts. Explore archives and vintage stores — treasures are often closer than you think.
Share or Donate: Fill out the form with photos of the garment and its label. Choose whether to share it with us or donate it to the Maison.
Join the Legacy: Your garment becomes part of Balestra's international archive, helping preserve its heritage and shape its future.
It all begins with the label
It is the Maison's signature.
The "Balestra Roma" label is the definitive mark of authenticity.
Here's what to look for among the folds of a garment.

The archive number
A code handwritten next to the label: if present, it means the garment was shown on the runway.
